Theater Club Goals!

Hillary Clinton, Diane Von Furstenberg, Gloria Steinem and Broadway show producer Daryl Roth (and our Five Questions subject) hung out at the Gloria: A Life Broadway show on March 15th. Clinton received two standing ovations. Act Two of the play has a talking circle where audience members are invited to talk. According to Vulture, Von Furstenberg toasted Steinem and said, “You say you don’t have daughters, but we are all your daughters and sisters, granddaughters, and soon-to-be great-granddaughters.”

Female Artists On Billboard Top 100

Women artists including Ariana Grande, Halsey and Lady Gaga have held the Billboard Top 100 chart for 11 weeks out of the 13 weeks in 2019. This is an extraordinary start since it is the same amount of time that women topped the chart for all of 2018! And considering that Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Halsey, Gaga and Beyonce are expected to release albums later this year, it looks like 2019 will be another strong year for women musicians!  Beyonce’s album is rumored to be focused on women supporting women. News outlets reported that she has already completed three songs.  We can’t wait to hear it!

The stars posted pictures of themselves to Instagram and we can’t get enough.  It has been 25 years since the filming of the movie.
