Met Costume Institute Exhibit “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”- Metropolitan Museum 5th avenue NYC and the Met Cloisters (in Fort Tryon Park above Washington Heights.)

Sure you weren’t invited to the Met Gala hosted by Anna Wintour, Donatella Versace, Amal Clooney and Rihanna, but you can still see the exhibits featuring historically priceless items, some from the Vatican that have never been out of Rome, as well as religious-inspired couture. The exhibit is the largest in the museum’s history and fills 25 galleries.  Open through October 8, $12 for students.
