Fifty Shades of Gay 

New York artist Tillett Wright leads a talk about the civil rights of the LGBTQ+ community, challenging everyone’s perceptions of this marginalized group of people who may not even be a group.  She has begun a project of photographing people across the country who don’t identify as 100% straight with the help of the Human Rights Campaign to show the humanity of the people whose rights are being persecuted around our country, despite the statement in the Declaration of Independence, “We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal.”  If we want to be a country that supports equality for all, we all should watch this talk and learn from this trailblazing, free thinking woman.
