The history teacher at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, where last year’s horrific school shooting occurred on Valentine’s Day, discusses how we can end gun violence and offers three suggestions on how we can address this senseless violence. She gives us a homework assignment to help figure out a solution, to help her students who have been actively working for sensible gun reform. “They shouldn’t have to do this on their own,” Wolk-Rogers says. “They’re asking you to get involved.”
