The Kissing Booth

You’ve likely already heard about this movie as it has taken the world by storm.  The romantic comedy tells the story of best friends Elle and Lee, who have never let anything come between their friendship due to their 10 Rules, with Rule #9 preventing Elle from having a relationship with Lee’s hot older brother Noah Flynn.  Elle follows all the rules until her unexpected first kiss with Noah at their charity kissing booth, and she has to decide whether their secret romance is worth giving up her lifelong best friend. Tony Awards 

72nd Annual awards hosted by Sara Bareilles and Josh Groban. The biggest nominees are Mean Girls and SpongeBob. (CBS, June 10).

MTV Movie & TV Awards

Tiffany Haddish hosts the always entertaining awards show from the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles.  R&B sisters Chloe x Halle, who are mentored by none other than Beyonce, will be performing “The Kids Are Alright” and “Warrior” from their recent debut album.  Other presenters expected include Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Zendaya, Gina Rodriguez, Olivia Munn, Mandy Moore, Yara Shahidi, Aubrey Plaza and Bryce Dallas Howard. Wimbledon 

The annual grass court tournament never disappoints, with players in their all-whites and celebrity and Royal sightings! (BBC, July 2-15)

ESPY Awards 

Race car star Danica Patrick will be the first female to ever host the sports-centered awards show.  ESPN will honor three coaches killed in the Parkland school shooting with the ESPY heroism award. (ESPN, July 18th).
