Bad Reputation

A documentary about female Rock & Roll pioneer Joan Jett who was told at her first guitar lesson at 13 years old that “Girls don’t play rock ‘n’ roll.” Despite that, Jett went on to have a groundbreaking career, first forming an all-girl band the Runaways, and later becoming front woman for the Blackhearts, forming their own music label and producing timeless hits including “I Love Rock ‘N Roll” which is the perennial top rock n’ roll anthem song.  Having released 12 studio albums since the Runaways, Jett was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2015 proving that girls CAN play rock n’ roll. Release date September 28th.
