Girl Tribe Recommends: Achievements in Sports

By Julia French

Sarah Fuller

This past weekend, Vanderbilt University broke football history by adding Sarah Fuller to their roster. Sarah Fuller was the first female ever to play in a power five college football game, which has inspired many girls to break gender barriers, reminding them that anything is possible. Growing up, Fuller always had a passion for sports, especially football; she wanted girls, like herselves, to break through gender barriers and reshape how people view the power of women in sports. As a 21 year old woman, Sarah breaks all types of stereotypes that attempt to limit women in sports by successfully kicking off in a D1 college football game, successfully booting the ball to the 35 yard line.
