Brie Larson will take the female superhero mantle in the first female-led solo movie from Marvel Studios. The movie follows the story of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes while Earth is in a galactic war with aliens. Captain Marvel is a former Air Force pilot and can fly and shoot beams out of her hands. She is also known as “a control freak with a big ego and a quick temper.” (Release date: March 8)

Five Feet Apart

Haley Lu Richardson and Riverdale’s Cole Sprouse  (and Suite Life of Zack and Cody‘s, obviously) star in this romantic story of two teen cystic fibrosis patients who meet each other in the hospital and fall for each other but due to their illnesses must remain five feet apart from each other. (Release date: March 15)
